In 2004, she joined the first Varan Workshop in Hanoi, at a time when direct cinema was still a completely new approach to Vietnamese audiences.
In 2008, she took part in the Master Workshop and directed the documentary “Who owns the land?”, which was screened at several international film festivals and received the Jury Award at the Cameras des Champs Festival in 2010.
In 2010 and 2011, she coordinated two Varan Workshops in Da Nang, introducing the principles of direct cinema to emerging filmmakers in Central Vietnam.
As a filmmaker at Vietnam Television (VTV), she applies the spirit of direct cinema in her work, emphasizing authentic representation of reality in her documentaries.
She is currently a member of Varan Vietnam and continues to make documentary films at VTV8.
