Nguyen Thu Huong is an independent documentary filmmaker. After graduating with a degree in Media Production, she continued to develop her craft through two documentary filmmaking workshops organized by Varan Vietnam. Driven by a desire to tell compelling and intimate stories, Huong explores how people confront their emotions, conflicts, and personal experiences in relation to the social changes around them. Through her films, she seeks not only to reflect society, but also to delve into the subtle layers of human emotion and the ways people interact with the world they live in.

Her works have been officially selected and screened at various international and regional film festivals, including the DZM International Documentary Film Festival (South Korea), Visual Documentary Project (Japan), Kyoto International Film and Art Festival (Japan), Si Loin, Si Proche Film Festival (France), as well as the European-Vietnam Documentary Film Festival and the Sustainable Development Documentary Film Festival by Goethe-Institut (Vietnam).
