Nguyen Anh, born in 1995 in the outskirts of Hanoi, graduated with a degree in Graphic Design in 2018.

She was first introduced to documentary filmmaking through a basic documentary course at the Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD) in 2023. In 2025, she continued to pursue this genre by participating in a documentary workshop organized and supported by Varan Vietnam. This marked the starting point of her practice as an emerging documentary filmmaker.
