Graduating with a degree in law, Dang left the legal profession to pursue community-oriented artistic and cultural initiatives.

He is the founder of “blur cinema” – a micro, mobile cinema that screens art-house films in independent cafés and alternative, non-traditional spaces. In 2024, Dang participated in Varan Vietnam’s Documentary Workshop and directed his debut documentary film, “Thiên Ân”.
