SYNOPSIS

The film serves as a bridge bringing the filmmaker closer to the lively, full-of-surprises life of a 35-year-old “comrade police officer,” a world filled with dreams and desires for love. Yet behind that, there are vague traces of reality intertwined with distant fantasies.

Nguyen Ho Bao Nghi is a final-year student majoring in Media Technology Management.
She began her filmmaking journey with her debut short documentary “Moi Dem” (The Night’s Thread, 2023). Most recently, she completed her second short documentary “Toan Oi” (Dear Toan, 2025) as part of the direct documentary filmmaking workshop organized by Ateliers Varan in Hanoi.
Nghi’s films have been screened at the European – Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival (2025)SeaShorts Film Festival (2025), as well as various film programs across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
